Bookings & Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date once a custom quote has been confirmed in writing. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the event, as specified in your individual proposal.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations made well in advance of the event date may be eligible for rescheduling at our discretion. Cancellations made close to the event date may forfeit the deposit and, depending on notice given, a portion of the total balance, in order to cover sourcing and staffing already committed on your behalf. Specific timelines are confirmed in your individual proposal.
Dietary Disclaimers & Allergen Liability
We take dietary restrictions and allergies seriously and design menus accordingly when informed in advance. However, our kitchens and sourcing may involve shared equipment and facilities, and we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. Clients are responsible for clearly communicating all dietary restrictions and allergies at the time of booking, and guests with severe or life-threatening allergies should exercise their own discretion and inform our team directly.
Service Areas
Shy's Bite is based in Destin, Florida and regularly serves Destin, 30A, Panama City, and Fort Walton Beach. Events beyond these areas are considered on a case-by-case basis and may involve additional travel arrangements.
Photography & Media Rights
We may photograph prepared dishes and table settings for portfolio and marketing purposes. We do not photograph clients, guests, or private residences without separate, explicit consent, and any such request will be discussed and agreed upon before the event.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your signed proposal governs that engagement.
